The main square of the city is less than 10 min walking. The neighbourhood is well known for the Taulantia promenade ,bars, lounges, pastry shops and most definitely the numerous Italian & Albanian restaurants. You can reach the beach during the day for a refreshment or enjoy a walk in the shetitorja Taulantia in the evenings. The beautiful "Sfinks Square" is only a few steps away . Archeological Museum and Durres Amphitheater are also in a walking distance. There are several mini-markets in the area, a Spa center , summer night club , olympic swimming pool , Durres Pier, Fashion stores ect. If you are by car , just follow Rruga Taulantia and you will get to the final destination 200 meters after passing the archeological museum . Since location is quite central you can easily get around walking . There is also the "Currila" bus stop only 25 meters from the apartment. This bus runs every 20 minutes and brings you straight to the central station of Durres. Taxies are also very cheap in Durres and might be a good option for moving around. A ride to central station should not cost you more than 3.5 euros . Parking possible in the surroundings of the location for free (24/7)
